I went over to Emptees this morning and was seeing what the latest was. The design o’ the day was from a guy named Derek Deal so I clicked through to see his profile. Let me just describe his work in one word = WOW! This guy has serious skills…

It looks he has more Design of the Day awards than there are days. And deservedly so with designs like these:

He has taken ownership of the splatter/drip zombie style and also has some pretty cool characters. Possessing those two styles is going to give Derek longevity and success. Another bright spot in his arsenal is the presence of a blog/portfolio so fans can follow his new releases. This is a must nowadays if you want to build a following.
