Holebrain’s New Mini Collection
October 22, 2009 | Written by Darren | Category: Clothing Lines
Why do we see the majority of new clothing lines with single color prints on their t-shirts? It’s pretty simple economics…it’s much cheaper. The only problem with that is, a single color design is much harder to sell with people or a high quality multicolor designs in the t-shirt marketplace.
With all that said, it is very refreshing to see a line like Holebrain doing the single color print and making it look good. In fact you hardly even notice the lack of color, because the design work so well with the color of the t-shirt. The style is simple and clean/cute. This is how a single color print should be done.
Creating these characters and maintaining a single color is a feat in itself. But creating them and keeping the same general look and overall feel is even more impressive. These guys are very lovable.
These new prints are available on the American apparel T-shirts with the label printed inside. A step up and in the right direction. Good job Holebrain.
