New T Shirt Search Engine – PleaseDress.me

September 1, 2008 | Written by Gino | Category: T Shirt Business

On TechCrunch today I saw a story about a new t shirt search engine called PleaseDress.me. Currently several designs are showcased on the home page and you can do a standard search, search by color, tags and price.

Right now the website is brand new and has a limited amount of shirts in its library, mostly designs from Threadless and Busted Tees, but I am hoping t shirt line owners will be able to submit their shirts in the future. The last thing I want this site to turn into is an affiliate only gallery.

What Will the Future Hold?

Currently their is no user submission feature, but if one was introduced later it would probably be a manually moderated gallery or some sort of rating system will be introduced.

Who knows what the future holds for this site, but I am definitely excited to see how this site will turn out and I am even more excited to see people taking a larger interest in the t-shirt community.

Glad to hear it’s not just all about the affiliate dollars. Although those are good too : – )

Check out http://teenormous.com – we have almost 15,000 tees, a killer search engine, and we do accept submissions from ANY merchant, affiliate or not.

I have just been there and it seems useful in finding the design you wanted. In the search results, however, there is no info on where the shirt can be purchased from. The price is there, though. Clicking the price tag will lead you to the shirt’s product page. All in all it’s a good search engine for t-shirt designs.
